Our Words and Thoughts Shape Our Reality – Law Of Attraction 101

And How To Manifest What You Want Using Mirror Training/Mirror Work

Listen to your internal dialogue

How do you describe yourself to others or to yourself? What kinds of words pop into your mind when you are looking in a mirror? If what we think of ourselves becomes true, we need to be careful about what we say and think about ourselves.

We create our reality

What we say and think shapes our world, just like a magical spell. It’s a simple sentence, but my life has been changing since I knew this. Unfortunately, we are often harsh on ourselves. When we see a mirror, first we find points to improve, don’t we???

When we make a small mistake, we are the ones who criticize the most, aren’t we…? I used to be a professional at criticizing and judging myself. And I thought it was good for me because I can improve myself by knowing my negative points. It might be correct in a way, but how can we become better by just trying to find negative points? I realized “if what I think and say becomes true…, what an awful thing I had been doing!!!!”

This article is first going to prove that our thoughts and words shape our reality and then provide how to manifest what you desire.

Mirror training

So… how to prove? Why don’t we try a mirror training to prove that our words and thoughts are powerful enough to shape our reality?

In this training, we can change our appearance by self-love and paying attention to our own beauty in a mirror. What do we need for the mirror training?

A mirror and your conscious mind… that’s it!

When you see a mirror without intentions, many negative and judgmental comments might appear in your mind.

The purpose of a mirror training is to change the negative thinking pattern to a positive one and ultimately become yourself whom you are dreaming about.

Let’s get started.

Enjoy the process in how things are going to be shifted just by what you intentionally say and think.

Step1

Sit down in from of a mirror, breathe deeply, and relax. Look into a mirror and find a point which you like. And focus on it and love it.

Step2

Say kind words to yourself aloud or in your mind, just like you speak to your loving one. In this step, you feel Love. You would feel that “I’m happy that I was born as me!” Praise the point you like. (ex. “You are beautiful. I love you. I love your attractive eyes.” etc.…)

Step3 (closing)

After you feel ultimate happiness and gratitude in step 2, smile peacefully. That’s it!

Yes, step 3 is simple and easy: just “smile peacefully” it’s an automatic step though…

After step 2, you can’t help smiling…. because you are so happy!

*self-love is crucial to raise your vibration. I would like to write about the importance of self-love in another article.

In the beginning, you might see points you dislike, but that’s OK. As you focus on the points you like, negative points fade away. The key is not to be judgmental and critical. If negative dialogue begins, just observe and say goodbye to it. And use your conscious mind to find beauty in you.

Mirror training doesn’t require you cost or time. I would like you to continue this experiment at least for one week, to know how powerful your words and thoughts are.

Playing a hypnotist

You hypnotize you in a mirror (or vice versa)

Let me explain the mechanism of mirror training. We are manifesting by thinking and imagining, which is the essence of the Law of Attraction.

This is like hypnotizing myself. We experience only what we make ourselves believe to be true or to happen. If we can’t avoid hypnotizing ourselves in this world, why don’t we use self-hypnosis in a smarter way?

Imagine you are a competent hypnotist and you hypnotize yourself every day, every time…You can make you do anything. You can make you become anything only if you are able to make you believe you can.

As I am learning the Law of Attraction, I always realize the power of faith. “Whether we can make it happen or not” is “whether we can believe it’ll happen or not.”

What makes our faith weak? Or what makes our limiting beliefs strong? Our thoughts are constantly influenced by family, friends, advertising, customs, etc.….

Those influenced thoughts sometimes limit our possibilities. Mirror training represents interaction between you and your inner self.

During the mirror training, make sure to ignore what others have been saying. Focus on just what you really want to manifest and hypnotize you so that you can make it happen.

Manifesting consciously

So… what are you manifesting now??? If you are living in a reality which you dislike, you have manifested it unconsciously. But you have a power to change it. (No one can manifest on behalf of you, but only you can!)

From now on, you can consciously choose your thoughts and words. At first, it might take you time to consciously choose what you think. It’s totally OK, take your time and enjoy the process how your thinking pattern is changing.

In my case, first I realized my thinking pattern. Then I began to observe negative thoughts and anxieties in the third person perspective and just peacefully waited until they were gone naturally. After negative thoughts are gone, I began to think what I want to manifest. Lastly, I believed what I wanted to manifest was already within me.

I know this process takes time in the beginning, but you’ll be surprised how fast negative thoughts are gone after you keep practicing the above thinking process! It was a fun journey for me, so I would like you to enjoy the journey as well!

Everybody sees a reflection of ourselves by a mirror or a window at least once a day. I wondered, “is there anyone who doesn’t have any thoughts once they see their reflection?”

If we can’t help thinking when we see our reflection, why don’t we consciously choose positive thoughts and make our lives better?

Whenever you see your reflection, please remind yourself that your thoughts and words are powerful and talk to the reflection in a loving way. Then the positive shift is already in your hands.
